Fragments Festival 2023
We have been invited to partner up with our friends at the Genesis Cinema to contribute artwork to their upcoming Fragments Festival.
Fragments Festival is an exciting programme which aims to provide a platform for stories about ‘Home’ and filmmakers and artists who identify as women or non-binary, people of colour, LGBTQIA+, disabled or belonging to otherwise marginalised groups. In programming our festival we strive to spotlight not only the fantastic home-grown talent that the UK has, but also the incredible artists and filmmakers across Europe and around the world.
We are encouraging visual artists from any marginalised backgrounds to submit their artwork to us under the theme of ‘Home’ and what that means to you.
For example, you may have artwork relating to: immigration, local community, travelling, care homes and age care, lockdown & isolation, homelessness, stay at home parenting, heritage and upbringing, cultural differences, wealth gaps and more.
We are looking for artists with strong art pieces in 2D, flat or paper works. Whether that be large or small paintings, drawings, collage, photography, print or fabric / mixed media artwork etc.
