Exhibit Your Art – Round 3 is now closed.
Dark Yellow Dot is thrilled to invite visual artists of all levels to submit artwork for consideration in the first exhibitions of 2025. We are dedicated to making art accessible and amplifying the voices of early career artists by curating exciting exhibitions in underserved spaces. We are passionate about working with artists who share our core values.
Who can apply:
Early Career Artists: Artists who consider themselves at the beginning stages of their professional art career, are taking the first steps towards becoming professional, or are returning to their practice after taking time away.
Passionate Creatives: We are looking for seriously passionate artists who are actively seeking ways to grow and develop their practice and want support, guidance and visibility.
Artists from all backgrounds: We will continue to amplify and showcase work by artists from all backgrounds, including minority backgrounds, people of colour and members of the LGBTQ+ community, regardless of age.
Individual Artists or Groups: We accept submissions from both individual artists and artist groups. If you have never exhibited your artwork before we encourage you to apply, as we pride ourselves in making space for new artists.
How It Works:
- Artists are required to complete a short submission form. This helps us get to know you and your work as we begin to organise our 2025 calendar. We aim to increase visibility to as many artists as we can, so we have implemented a tiered system to provide even more opportunity for all applicants to gain guaranteed visibility.
- Once the open call closes, our team of curators and organisers will review all entries, and make selections
- We will notify all artists of decisions by email
- Selected artists are asked to secure their participation with a £50 non-refundable confirmation fee. (For artist groups it’s £50 for the first artist and £40 per artist after that) As a community interest company we rely on this fee to carry out all of the organisation, curation, social media, content creation, events and artist support that go into each exhibition.
- You exhibit your work for several weeks! And enjoy all the perks outlined below.
