There’s No Time Like the Present But Sometimes I Prefer the Past
Adam Jacobs
We invited London based artist Adam Jacobs to the 1B Window Gallery to display his mixed media graffiti work.
Purchase artwork from this exhibition
Amateur artist producing art in my spare time influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, street art and graffiti. My work is inspired by a number of different factors: found pieces from magazines & cuttings, bold colours, plays on words, and a haphazard style in the sense that I do very little prep work but simply have an idea and get straight to work on it.
Here’s a cross section of some of my most recent pieces where the emphasis is less on painting and more on collage using mixed media as the main medium. Some are more personal, others have something to say about our society and the world we live in. All are there to provoke discussion and be as creatively bold as possible.
